In July 2002, the band 1134 was formed and had a full lineup by July 2003 with Kevin Baxter (guitar), Chris Calesini (drums), Mike Motto (bass) and Ted Siepman (vocals/lead guitar). The band gigged a variety of venues and released a five-song demo together. Over the years professional differences changed the direction of the band.
Mike Motto was relieved of his duties in late 2007 creating somewhat of a revolving door. In February 2008, 1134 enlisted the help of Greg Nolter to take the leads. This was so Ted could focus more on vocals but in June 2008 Ted decided to leave the band. 1134 was without a singer.
In the meantime, the band was still practicing minus a singer and decent bass player. That was until Roland Giffey joined up in September of 2008 giving 1134 the spark they needed. The band began to write new music and talked of recording the new tunes with Kevin as lead vocals. Finally in December of 2008 Chris left the band as well paving the way for Mike Webster.
Since then they have spent the last few months writing and recording new music and have gigged at Penny Road. Already having shows booked for June and July; it’s clear 1134 has become an explosive force of entertainment.
1134 takes pride in crafting their songs showing their no compromise approach. They describe their music as hard-hitting metal that all rock fans will enjoy.

1134 is currently in the studio working on the release of their debut EP to be released in Winter 2009.
Since Mike Webster joined the band in December 2008, 1134 has been on the fast track. They have written new music and are in the process of recording and mixing it down.
